Meet the team
director
Rachel Davis
Before setting up Accuracy Matters in 2012, Rachel worked in publishing and government communications, as an editor, proofreader, trainer and leader. She loves to get to know her clients inside out, putting together expert teams to help them get the most out of editorial services. If she’s not grappling with copy, you will usually find Rachel looking after someone’s dog and travelling round the country.

Rhiannon Gilbertson
Rhiannon looks after the relationship with our clients and has more than 20 years’ experience in publishing and government communications as a writer, editor and skilled communicator. When she’s not at work she can be found up to her elbows in mud at her allotment or walking her crazy spaniel.
BUSINESS OPERATIONS MANAGER
Tessa Fincham
Tessa keeps all business processes running smoothly and efficiently. Her children and rescue cat keep her pretty busy, but when time allows her interests include science fiction, current affairs and attempting cryptic crosswords.
EDITORIAL OPERATIONS MANAGER
Angela Derbyshire
Angela counts budgeting, scheduling and project traffic among her superpowers, keeping all the plates spinning while remaining calm under pressure. She has over 25 years’ experience across all types of editorial and publishing disciplines. When she isn’t at work she enjoys spinning actual plates as a keen amateur cook, referring to her library of over 100 recipe books to create savoury and sweet dishes for friends and family, no matter what size the gathering.
Editorial Lead
Sarah Chatwin
Sarah is our editorial lead, and usually heads up the big projects that need a team to work on them, especially public inquiry reports. She has nearly 30 years of editorial experience, with a background in book publishing. She likes nothing more than writing style guides for clients – except perhaps dancing and swimming at the lido.
Accounts and Finance Manager
Elaine Gough
Elaine keeps the engine running with our accounts, finance and supporting processes, and runs our Internal Audit function for ISO 9001. She is also a demon with the crochet hook.
Admin and Quality Manager
Delia Malach
Delia keeps our admin and quality management processes running smoothly, always with one eye on customer service and satisfaction, and a commitment to continuous improvement. In her spare time she enjoys non-fiction, being a seeing-eye human to her blind dog and doing craft.
ACCOUNTS ASSISTANT
Sue List
Sue supports on all accounts and finance processes. Outside of work she can usually be found singing as a member of two local choirs.
Technical Support Manager
Lee Nixon
Lee is in charge of our IT and security, as well as assisting with graphic design and illustration.
