As well as delivering editorial services for a wide range of clients from huge communications agencies to smaller NGOs and charities, at Accuracy Matters we also want to make sure we have a framework in place which helps to promote equality in business. After all, equality matters too.
And so, we come to the end of another year – is it a cliché to say that it flew past? I do feel as if I blinked in March and then ended up here in December.
We’re not ones to gossip but we do like to listen to what other people have to say. Especially what you – our clients and customers – have to say about us.
We’ve had another bumper year – with ten new clients on our books, a wide range of projects from McDonald’s Happy Meal packaging to the Report of the Gosport Independent Panel and a big software switchover which caused me a few headaches!
I did a day in house for one of our clients recently – they’re a contract publisher, producing a variety of communications on behalf of their clients, and it suits the way they do things for us to proofread their material on site. It works for us, too.
John and I both had car trouble last week. His stopped working completely; mine started gushing oil in the middle of its MOT. Happy days. So we spent quite a bit of time sympathising with each other over our respective motor woes.
We’re always looking for opportunities to help our clients understand the technical background to what we do. And we also want to help people improve their own ability to proofread.
